Wellfound Foods is a next-generation grab-and-go food company based in Washington, D.C. We make fresh prepared meals and snacks for wholesale distribution to retailers and for retail distribution to our network of tech-enabled, contactless kiosks - we call them SmartMarkets. 

We’re a food start-up on a mission to increase access to real, healthy food in our community, and we are poised for rapid growth over the next 12-18 months. 

Role Description (You):

We are hiring an Overnight Delivery Driver to help distribute our meals to wholesale clients and SmartMarkets. In addition, you will be responsible for working with our Fulfillment, Operations, Customer Service, and Field Service teams. Success will be measured by order accuracy, timely delivery, and maximized SmartMarket uptime. Hiring will be contingent on a background check and clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive safely and efficiently maneuver city streets and highways in a company-owned refrigerated van, deliver food to customers, fridges, and retail partners, and then use and communicate completed deliveries to HQ.
• Work with customer support to troubleshoot and document issues you encounter in the field. 
• Complete service repair calls as directed by tickets.
• Maintain and input critical data into various systems.
• You’ll be the only Wellfound Foods employee that many of our customers see so you must be friendly and represent the company well at all times.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Must Have valid US Driver's Licence
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Minor mechanical skills to perform SmartMarket repairs and refrigerated van maintenance
• Excellent customer service skills.
• 2 years of experience relevant to the above
